The Petersfield Museum has kindly provided copies of some old photographs of the Butser Hill Chalk Quarries and Lime Works which ceased working many years ago. Originally alongside the busy A3 they are now set back slightly as a result of road realignments. Do you have any knowledge about these quarries or lime works?
